The legal experience spans more than 32 years in the field of law, including 27 years in the Sultanate of Oman, and Egypt.

◈ PhD in Civil Law and International Commercial Arbitration — Distinction — Zagazig University.

Practical experience
I have practiced law as a lawyer in all international and domestic cases across all branches of law in the Sultanate of Oman and the Gulf region since 1994, and currently, since 2018, in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
I have also practiced arbitration since 2000 as a sole arbitrator and as a member of an arbitration panel in the Sultanate of Oman and abroad, in both Arabic and English.
I have 32 years of experience in the legal field, including 27 years in the Sultanate of Oman, practicing before all types and levels of courts.
The field of law
◈ A licensed lawyer authorized to practice before the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Constitutional Court of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and previously before the Supreme Court of the Sultanate of Oman in all types of cases.
◈ The first woman to practice law in the Sultanate of Oman from 1995 until the end of 2017, and a well-known name in the field of law and arbitration.
◈ Partner and former director of Mona Amer Law Firm and Legal Consultancy, which was established as a civil law firm until the end of 2017.
◈ Currently the owner of the International Law Firm for Legal Consultancy and Arbitration — Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.
International Arbitration
◈ 25 years of experience in commercial arbitration as a sole arbitrator and as a member of an arbitration panel, issuing awards in both Arabic and English.
◈ Has worked in international arbitration since 2000, both in the Sultanate of Oman and abroad.
Teaching and training
◈ Part-time lecturer in various branches of law at several universities.
◈ Legal trainer for both legal professionals and non-legal experts.

• Author of the encyclopedia “What Do You Know About Arbitration?” for non-specialists, published in several newspapers, television programs, and magazines, including: The Society and Law Magazine (Public Prosecution of the Sultanate of Oman – quarterly) in 2016-2017, and Al-Akhbar Magazine and Al-Akhbar Newspaper in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
